Hello, I am Noah

I’m a project manager. A parent. An expat based in Toronto, Canada.

A few years back, I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary assignment gradually became a new chapter abroad.

How It Started

Moving to Canada wasn't in the long-term plan. As with many international relocations, it began with a job opportunity and soon grew into something far more significant.

The first months were intense — new systems, new routines, new expectations. Everyday tasks felt more complicated than they should.

The Adjustment Period

There was culture shock, uncertainty, and a lot of learning by doing. But slowly, routines formed. We discovered places that worked for us, met other families, and started building something that felt stable.

Why I Built Beacon Solstice Atlas

Most information online was either corporate-level relocation advice or surface-level tourism material. What was missing was honest, day-to-day family perspective.

This site exists to close that gap — practical guidance based on real life in Canada.

What This Site Does (And Doesn't)

This site is:

  • Hands-on experience from living in Canada
  • Centered on family life and daily realities
  • Updated when something truly changes

This site is not:

  • Not a tourism authority resource
  • Not a sponsored review platform
  • Not a generic travel blog

Looking Forward

Our stay in Canada continues, and the learning process goes on. As long as the information remains useful, I’ll keep documenting what we uncover.

If you have questions about family life in Toronto or anywhere in Canada, please don't hesitate to contact me.

With warm regards,

Noah
